Innovation Marathon

What it is

Casty - Innovation Marathon is a format created by FoolFarm for BIH and was created with the aim of discovering the best talent in the world of innovation. The format is an authentic talent search, in-person and streamed live. The aim is to identify new visionaries who will become the next founders of successful startups incubated within FoolFarm.

How It Works

Do you have a great idea for a start-up?

Perfect, you are in the right place!

To participate, simply fill in the dedicated form by entering your personal details such as your name, surname, email and phone and CV. If you feel particularly inspired, you can also tell us about yourself by uploading a video presentation of up to 2 minutes.

In addition, you will need to upload a pitch deck that describes your business idea clearly and concisely. You can use the template at the bottom of the page to ensure that your pitch deck is complete and well organised.

There are no limits to your ideas. Projects can be aimed at any type of market. Solutions with a significant Deep-Tech component, such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and the like will be particularly valued. Business ideas can be submitted in both Italian and English.

Once you submit your application, a team of experts will carefully review all pitch decks received to select the 5 finalist projects. If your project is selected, you will receive an official invitation to attend the final Pitch Day in December. Here, you will have the opportunity to present your idea in front of a jury of industry experts.

You will have about a month to prepare your final pitch, but you will not be alone! During this time, you can request support from the Business Innovation Hub team to refine your presentation, with up to three mentoring sessions.

Access Requirements

Female and male students from any faculty, department and degree course may participate. During the application phase, it will be necessary to register with the institutional e-mail address of Sapienza.

Modalities of Participation

Applications must be submitted exclusively by filling in the following form by the 17 of November at 12 PM.

The selected projects will be invited, via e-mail, to participate in the pitch day to determine the teams that will have access to the services of the Business Innovation Hub. More detailed information about the event will be published on the ImpreSapiens Research Centre website and disseminated on its social channels (ImpreSapiens and/or BIH).
